Analisis Kesediaan Konsumen Muslim Membeli Produk Berlogo Halal: Perbandingan Antara Produk Lokal Asal Negara Mayoritas Muslim dan Produk Impor Asal Negara Minoritas Muslim
This study aimed to determine the willingness to buy of Indonesian Muslim consumers towards halal food and beverage products from Muslim-majority countries and non-Muslim-majority countries available in the Indonesian market. These perceptions were identified using the variables of religiosity, ethnocentrism, brand trust, product judgement and willingness to buy. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using software SPSS, LISREL and AMOS to examine research variables on 520 Indonesian Muslim consumers. This study shows that religiosity has a positive effect on brand trust in halal food and beverage products from Muslim-majority countries and from non-Muslim majority countries. Ethnocentrism has a positive effect on brand trust of halal food and beverage products from non-Muslim majority countries, while products from Muslim majority countries do not have a significant effect. Brand trust from both groups of countries has a positive effect on product judgement. In addition, brand trust also has a positive effect on consumers' willingness to buy products from the two groups of countries. This study also shows that there is a positive effect of consumer product judgement on willingness to buy products originating from non-Muslim majority countries and has no effect on products originating from Muslim-majority countries.
