Pengaruh Kondisi Demokrasi dan Kesejahteraan Sebagai Bagian Dari Pemenuhan Beberapa Hak Dasar Manusia Terhadap Ketimpangan Ekonomi Di Indonesia
Over time, the problem of inequality and poverty still occurs in almost all regions of the world. According to Boesen and Martin (2007) there was a change when previously poverty was seen from the Basic needs Approach to a Right-Based Approach which focused more on fulfilling the basic rights of citizens to overcome inequality problems. In this study, the basic rights observed are Civil Rights and Political Rights which are reflected in the Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI), especially in the aspects of the Civil Liberties Index and the Political Rights Index . Next, there is the right to work and the right to a decent life which is reflected in the Open Unemployment Rate and in the Percentage of Poor Population. This study finds that the fulfillment of political rights and the right to a decent life can reduce Economic Inequality because IHP and Percentage of Poor Population have a significant influence on the Economic Index. This can happen because the use of political rights in executive and legislative general elections at the center and in the regions as well as community political participation can influence policies that favor the poor in terms of economic inequality. Likewise, the percentage of poor people, which is an illustration of the fulfillment of the right to a decent life from the government for Indonesian citizens, can affect the number of inequality. If the state can reduce the poverty rate, which means that it has provided and guaranteed the welfare of its population in accordance with the mandate of UUD 1945 (Constitution), it can influence and reduce the level of national economic inequality..Ada Tabel
