Analisis Faktor-Faktor Kebertahanan UMKM selama Pandemi Covid-19 (Laporan Magang)
It is known that the Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred since March 2020 has caused Indonesia's economic growth to experience a negative trend (Ministry of Finance, 2020). One of the sectors affected by the Covid-19 pandemic is Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The decline in the performance of MSMEs also resulted in a decline in the national economy. This is because MSMEs have a very large contribution to the national economy, which is 61.1% (KUKM, 2018). In addition, MSMEs are also considered strong enough to face the economic crisis. This study examines the factors that influence the survival of MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analytical method used is binary logistic regression. The results of the study show that the main factors that significantly influence the survival of MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic are age, gender, and access to online markets. The results of the logit regression show that for every 1 year increase in age, the chance of survival of MSMEs decreases by 5.31 percent. The gender variable shows that MSMEs managed by male entrepreneurs have a 2.97 times greater chance of survival than female entrepreneurs. While access to the online market has a significant influence on the survival of MSMEs, but it is not in accordance with the hypothesis because most of the respondents who survive MSMEs do not have access to the online market.
