Analisis Pengaruh Perbedaan Persepsi dan Karakteristik Konsumen Muslim Indonesia Terhadap Keputusan Menggunakan Bank Syariah

Haroki, Muhandis - ; Ledi Trialdi S.E., MPP (Pembimbing/Promotor) - ;

Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world. With a population over 200 million Muslims, or equivalent to 87% of the population, it should be easier for Islamic banks to grow rapidly in Indonesia. But in reality, since the last few years the growth of Islamic banks has decreased. In addition, the penetration of Islamic banking in Indonesia is only 6.51 percent which puts Indonesia in a position below other Muslim countries such as Malaysia, UAE and Qatar. The problem of this low adoption of Islamic banking in Indonesia may lie in the quality of the marketing mix strategy of Islamic banking and other determining factors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions of customers and non-customers of Islamic banks related to the 7Ps marketing mix of Islamic banking (compared to conventional banking) and the influence of subjective norm, variety seeking, religiosity, knowledge, and sharia compliance factors on Muslim customers' decisions in choosing a bank. sharia. The data used are primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 429 Muslim respondents who have and have not become customers of Islamic banks. This research uses logistic regression method. This study found that there are 6 of 13 factors that significantly influence the decision of Muslim customers in choosing Islamic banks, which are differences in price, process and physical evidence quality between Islamic and conventional banking (from the marketing mix factor) as well as knowledge, variety seeking, and switching cost factors..Ada Tabel
