Pengaruh Financial Attitude terhadap Aktivitas Jual Beli Saham Syariah oleh Investor Ritel Muslim Selama Pandemi COVID-19: Studi Kasus Indonesia

The economic and financial sectors in Indonesia experienced a drastic decline during COVID-19, but Muslim retail investors in Sharia stocks experienced an increase in terms of numbers and activities. Many previous studies have revealed the relationship between investors' investment activities and Financial Attitude. However, there is still little literature that discusses the influence of Muslim retail investors in dealing with the problem of this pandemic. This study will discuss the influence of Financial Attitude represented by Financial Anxiety, Optimism, Financial Security, Interest in Financial Issues, Needs for Precautionary Savings, plus Religousity on Islamic stock trading activities by Muslim retail investors during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Data were obtained as many as 1250 respondents from the results of distributing online survey questionnaires with criteria sellingof investors that have been investing in sharia shares during the pandemic. The data is then processed with Excel, SPSS and AMOS applications to calculate Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to see the relationship between latent variables, and Python for Artificial Neural Network (ANN) to measure the relationship between latent variables. The results of the six dimensions reveal that Financial Anxiety, Optimism, and Interest in Financial Issues have a significant influence on buying and selling Islamic shares by Muslim retail investors, with Financial Anxiety having the strongest influence.
