Analisis Peran Inovasi Pelayanan Terhadap Behavioral Intention Konsumen Dalam Menggunakan Asuransi Syariah di Indonesia

Dr. Ir. Tengku Ezni Balqiah, M.E. (Pembimbing/Promotor) - ; Sussly, Aldhis Qisto - ;

Currently, sharia insurance in Indonesia is facing one of its biggest challenges, namely the opening of the Asean Framework Agreement on Services (AFAS) where restrictions on trade in services between countries in Southeast Asia will be opened freely so that service companies from Southeast Asian countries outside Indonesia can enter and operate in Indonesia. Because various sharia insurance companies still rely on agency channels in their services, and not many use digital channels, insurance companies must think about the latest innovations related to their services to make both new and old customers use sharia insurance services, and to be able to also compete with sharia insurance companies from outside Indonesia. This study was made with the aim of knowing how influential the role of service innovation is on the behavioral intention of customers in using sharia insurance in Indonesia. This research was conducted by collecting data from survey questionnaires distributed to respondents who had used sharia insurance services before. The data that has been collected were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS applications with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) data processing method to test the latent variable data from 410 respondents. This study found that service innovation does not directly affect customer behavioral intention, and corporate social responsibility also does not moderate the relationship between service innovation and customer behavioral intention. However, the results of further analysis found that word of mouth and customer attitudes towards sharia insurance could significantly mediate the relationship between service innovation and consumer behavioral intention, with religiosity having a significant role in moderating the relationship between service innovation and customer attitudes towards sharia insurance..Ada Tabel
