Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Intensi Pembelian Produk Kosmetik Halal:Studi Kasus pada Generasi Z di Indonesia

As a Muslim, it is obligatory to use halal cosmetics, which are permissible according to Islam and not harmful. Unfortunately, there are still illegal products that are dangerous and have not been certified by BPOM as well as products that contain suspicious content due to the complexity of the MUI Halal Certification which shows that entrepreneurs do not understand the importance of legalization and halal certification. Whereas Generation Z, as their target market, pays more attention to the products they buy ethically. Therefore, halal cosmetics can provide a solution for Generation Z. This study uses the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) to see what factors influence the intention to purchase halal cosmetics in Generation Z in Indonesia. Other exogenous variables such as Religiosity, Halal Knowledge, Halal Certification, and Trust are used as extensions of the Subjective Norm and Attitude variables as mediation. The researcher conducted a qualitative research by surveying the processed data of 420 Indonesian Muslim women born in 1997-2007 who used halal cosmetics. The data analysis of this research used the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that Subjective Norms, Halal Certification, Halal Knowledge and Trust have a significant effect on Purchase Intention, while Attitude and Religiosity have no effect. The mediating role of the Attitude variable was also not found. Meanwhile, the variables of Halal Certification, Religiosity, and Subjective Norm were found to be significantly related to Attitude..Ada Tabel
