Dampak Liberalisasi Perdagangan terhadap Kemiskinan Penduduk di Indonesia: Menggunakan Pengukuran Kemiskinan Berbasis Hak-Hak Dasar

Jossy Prananta Moeis, Ph.D. (Pembimbing/Promotor) - ; Aryuliska, Cut - ;

Trade Liberalization impacts on poverty in developing countries were not showing convergent results and still ambiguous. In this research, writer used panel data of 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2015 until 2019. Using right-based poverty approach, which underlie variable selection in the model consisting of access to educational facilities, health facilities, infrastructure, sanitation, and decent job. There are additional variables such as dummy variable for main port and gross regional domestic product per capita. The finding of this model is that trade liberalization may increase poverty and income inequality of societies in Indonesia. With this view, free trade policy seems don’t favor the poorer. Therefore, it’s essentials for government to adopt strong governance and proper macro policy, so we can gain the benefit from trade. .Ada Tabel
