Asosiasi antara Teknologi Digital dan Pernikahan Anak di Indonesia
The purpose of this study was to analyze the association between digital technology and child marriage in Indonesia. The data source for this research came from the results of the March 2020 National Social and Economic Survey (SUSENAS). The unit of analysis was respondent aged 10-18 years. The dependent variable was the age at first marriage. The independent variables included digital technology (cell phone use and internet use), place of residence, gender, school participation, employment status, number of family members, type of lighting, and type of fuel. The data were analyzed using a binary logistic regression model. The results of the study showed that the use of digital technology, namely the use of cell phones and internet use, was negatively correlated with child marriage in Indonesia, even after controlling for the influence of place of residence, gender, school participation, employment status, number of families, and type of fuel. The probability of getting married at a child's age was higher among children who did not use cell phones, did not use the internet, lived in rural areas, were females, did not go to school, did not work, had more family members, and using gas as a type of fuel for cooking at home..Ada Tabel
