Implikasi Peran Ganda Perempuan dalam Keluarga dan Pekerjaan serta Pengaruhnya pada Kesehatan Mental
Perceptions about working women and the domestic activities attached to them, are now starting to shift to the public domain. Both perceptions of these roles often clash, causing women to experience physically and emotionally exhausted condition that triggers conflict. “Work-family?? conflict can be seen as one of the causes of mental health issues such as burnout and stress. This research is quantitative and conducted using exploratory research as methodology. Data collection was conducted from April to May 2021 in 1,063 subjects, with women who work and have at least one domestic responsibility, ie. children, husbands, parents, or siblings. The research used a purposive sampling method and used online-based questionnaires to reach the subjects. In this research, there were 15 models which were compared to each of their domestic variables. From the 15 models, only 13 models passed the validity and reliability tests. The result show that is women do not experience work-family conflict when carrying out domestic activities. On the other hand, when carrying out their work activities, they experience work-family conflict. The conflict has been shown to have an effect on women’s mental health problems. With this research, it can provide insight for companies regarding to mental health issues for women and the formulation of policies for family-friendly working rules..Ada Tabel
