After being engaged with international market, domestic companies are faced with a wider market and tougher competition. Theoretically, the company's decision to continue the international trade activities is influenced by the company's ability to adapt in the international market through the increased of productivity, which is gained through experience or past international trading activities. This study aims to see how the trading status of the company in the past can influence the company's decisions in the present. Using data from the Survey of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industries in Indonesia in 2012 s.d. In 2015, this study found that the company's international trading activities stem from (1) increased resilience stemming from past international trading experiences and (2) company import activities that increase the company's ability to export. Furthermore, this study found the same effect on firms classified as SME but with a smaller coefficient.Ada Tabel
