Kajian Terhadap Faktor yang Memengaruhi Intensi untuk Melamar Pekerjaan di Bank Syariah

This study aims to determine what factors influence the job pursuit intentions of prospective employees of Islamic banks. The variables tested are organizational prestige, suspicion towards sharia bank, future of sharia bank, negative perceptions towards sharia bank, person-organization fit, job attractiveness, and organizational attractiveness which also act as mediating variables between the six previous variables and job pursuit intention. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to check the suitability of the research model and test causality between variable constructs. The total respondents included 349 final year students and recent graduates of the Faculty of Economics and/or Business in Indonesia who participated in the research sample. The results showed that organizational prestige, person-organization fit, and job attractiveness had a significant positive effect on organizational attractiveness. Meanwhile, suspicion towards sharia bank, the future of sharia bank, and negative perceptions towards sharia bank did not have a significant effect on organizational attractiveness. Organizational attractiveness has also been shown to mediate the relationship between organizational prestige, person-organization fit, and job attractiveness with job pursuit intention. Therefore, Islamic banks need to develop strategies for disseminating information with positive intonation to increase the attractiveness of Islamic banks as a place to work and ultimately influence the intentions of prospective employees to pursue jobs in Islamic banks..Ada Tabel
