Dampak Jumlah Negara Penerima Visa Exemption Terhadap Pajak Hotel Dan Pajak Restoran: Studi Kasus 9 Kota Destinasi Wisata Di Indonesia

Novianti, Zakiyah - ; Dr. Dewi Ratna Sjari M S.E., M.Si. (Pembimbing/Promotor) - ;

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the number of visa-free countries travel to Indonesia, the number of tourist visits both foreign and domestic, GRDP, and inflation on tax revenues from the hotel and restaurant in 9 tourist destination cities/regencies in Indonesia. The visa exemption policy is a government policy that allows foreign citizens to easily enter Indonesia by waiving the obligation to have a visa. It is envisaged that the visa-free policy will have a positive effect on Indonesia, one of which aims to increase the number of international tourist visits. This study uses a quantitative approach. A panel data regression analysis method was employed in this work to analyze the data. The results of the study concluded that the visa-free policy had a positive effect on hotel and restaurant tax revenues, although not on hotel taxes significantly. The number of foreign and domestic tourist visits, GRDP, and inflation simultaneously affect hotel and restaurant tax revenues.Ada Tabel
