Pengaruh Ukuran dan Struktur Pendanaan terhadap Tingkat Stabilitas Bank: Analisis pada Bank Konvensional di Indonesia Periode 2012-2020
The goal of this study was to confirm whether the size and funding structure has a significant impact towards the stability of a bank. This study adopts unbalanced panel data from Indonesian banks from 2012 to 2020. Therefore, to achieve maximum conclusion for this study, the sample data includes 4 state-owned banks, 27 regional development banks, 68 private banks, and 8 international banks which has branch in Indonesia. The findings of this study show that bank size has a negative impact on bank stability, with the larger the bank, the lower the level of bank stability. This negative impact has significant implications for the current debate over whether bank size should be limited in order to protect the financial system from future crises. Furthermore, the funding structure has a positive impact with the stability of the bank. This demonstrates that the more a bank focus on their non-interest income, the higher the bank's level of stability. Not only that, but this study also covers various company-specific variables such as credit risk, liquidity ratios, and profitability, as well as macroeconomic variables like financial development, GDP, and inflation, to strengthen the findings of this study..Ada Tabel
