Sustainability has been a debatable topic for decades now, that is why this study is conducted. This research aims to analyze the effect of sustainability which is represented by Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) to a company's financial performance. This research used ESG scores provided by Thomson Reuters Datastream. The sample used in this research consists of 34 manufacturing companies throughout ASEAN-5 countries in the period of 2016-2020. The result revealed that there is a significant negative effect of ESG on financial performance if it is measured by ROE and OPM. Environmental alone does not have any significant effect on financial performance, social has a significant negative effect on ROA, ROE, and OPM, governance has negative effect on ROA..Ada Tabel
