Evaluasi Perlakuan Akuntansi atas Aset Tetap PT AAA (Laporan Magang)
This internship report focuses on the evaluation of accounting treatment for fixed assets in PT AAA, the surviving entity of a merger between four State-Owned Entities (SOE) in 2021, which operates in port services. Internship experience in the company is the object of the evaluation. Overall, PT AAA has implemented accounting treatment in accordance with the financial accounting standards used in Indonesia, with several exceptions. The evaluation results suggest that PT AAA should hold a discussion about componentization of fixed assets, align the accounting systems, simplify the bureaucracy, hold trainings, and do routine evaluations about the accounting estimates and records. Moreover, this report shows a personal reflection during the internship. The things that went well were the ability to think critically and creatively, cooperation, and time management. The things that had not gone well were the ability to communicate and adaptation to a new environment. Action plans regarding the personal reflection include self-preparation for new work place, taking relevant certifications, improving excel skill, and honing communication ability..Ada Tabel
