A Reviewer's gold
Turning gaming expectations into refreshing experiences that produce a collective triumph for authors and reviewers remains a challenge. A significant number of articles are rejected because they are not well written. It is a misperception that reviewers are the experts; rather, the authors are. Reviewers should be open to authors' points of view, and to providing thoughtful recommendations based on careful and thorough reading of submitted papers. In the ongoing intellectual discourse among authors and reviewers, the editor is the referee. Reviewing can bring recognition as a scholar, offer influence in shaping a field, serve as a stepping-stone to higher ambitions. Reviewing also feeds the intellectual health of a scholar.Printed Journal
