Bad apples or bad barrels? a former CEO discusses the interplay of person and situation with implications for business education

Henle, Christine A. - ;

Recent corporate scandals have directed public attention to the importance of business ethics and social responsibility. Although culpability can be assigned to a myriad of causes, there is no question that the business education process can ameliorate or exacerbate the problem. Terry Broderick, former president and chief executive officer of Royal & SunAlliance USA, was interviewed to gain insight on the state of business ethics today and what business educators can do to instill the importance of ethical decision making in current and future business leaders.Printed Journal
