Some 90% of new retailers fail. David Griffith of Michigan State University, Stephanie Noble of the University of Mississippi, and Quinmei Chen of the University of Hawaii try to understand this statistic in a new study. In it, they as whether entrepreneurial proclivity (i.e., the degree to which management is predisposed to accept entrepreneurial processes, practices and decision making) predicts firm market responsiveness, and ultimately, firm performance.Printed Journal
