Operasionalisasi dan perluasan teori planned behavior pada kasus perilaku suksesi perusahaan keluarga: suatu model konseptual

Harsono, Mugi - ;

This seminal article discusses the development of conceptual model of family business succession behavior based on theory of planned behavior (TPB). The driving forces of the development of this conceptual model are: (1) the scarcity of family business research publication in Indonesia; (2) domination of descriptive and qualitative analysis in the prior family business succession planning research; and (3) there is a change to broaden the construct of theory of planned behavior to theory of planned behavior-outcome (TPBO). Based on theoritical and prior research reviews, the operationalization of TPB concept are: attitude toward succession (A); subjective norms of succession (SN); perceived succesion control (PBC); predecessor willingness to step aside (L1); successor willingness to takeover (L2); while the operationalization of outcome concept is perception of succession success. The relationships and propositions based on developed conceptual model is presented in final section on this article.Printed Journal
