Tax Fraud : an emerging Issue for concern
The tax fraud issue is becoming a global phenomenon to be concerned bay the country's authorities, particulary the tax authorities, since it will threaten the country's tax revenue.for taht eason, it is necessary for the respective tax authorities to implement an effective strategy to combat and prevent the tax fraud. This paper is preparedto discuss the relevant issues related to the tax fraud. it consists of four main parts. the first part will discuss the undertanding of tax fraud concept and the common type of tax fraud activities conducted by the tax payer . the second part will discuss about the tax frad experience n Indonesia. Further, as a complement of the second part, the third part will discuss about the tax fraud experience in other countries. Finally, this paper will recomend anumber of ways to combat the tax fraud in general. .Printed Journal
