A Conceptual framework for the role of the administrattion medium in the personnel assessment process
The proposed framework describes the administration of personnel tests and assessments as a communication exchange process, and it defines the administration medium in terms of four attributes: transparency, social bandwidth, interactivity, and surveillance. The structural and dynamic characteristics of these media attributes present sources of systematic and unsystematic variation, which affect construct validity and reliability of measurement.
