Evaluasi Proses Penyusunan Tinjauan Kinerja Bulanan PT XYZ (Laporan Magang)
This internship report aims to evaluate the process of preparing PT XYZ's monthly performance review which involves data matching processes, forecasting processes, and the use of Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) in accordance with existing theory. PT XYZ is an application-based company as an online counseling platform engaged in the mental health sector and was founded in 2018 and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. PT XYZ makes monthly performance reviews which are divided based on business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) activities. The data checking process at PT XYZ was evaluated using a theory related to data matching by Christen (2012). Determining company targets through a forecasting process is carried out using qualitative methods for B2C and B2B activities. Evaluation of the forecasting process is carried out using the forecasting theory by Jaggia & Kelly (2021). The use of EBITDA in PT XYZ's monthly performance review is used to measure the company's operating performance. Evaluation of the use of EBITDA is carried out using the theory by Bouwens (2019). Based on the results of the evaluation, PT XYZ has not applied the relevant theories thoroughly in the process of preparing its monthly performance reviews so that PT XYZ can not yet rely on its monthly performance reviews as a reliable source of information to reflect its operational performance
