Analisis Manajemen Persediaan pada Usaha Tanaman Hias (Studi pada UMKM X)
This thesis aimed to analyze inventory management in MSME X and describe facts related to inventory management in the planning, receiving, storage, distribution and recording processes. This research uses a case study approach with research methods in the form of literature studies, observations and interviews. The results show that there are still weaknesses in inventory management in MSME X. Therefore, this study recommends improving inventory management at the planning stage in the form of ABC classification analysis. ABC (Always, Better, Control) classification analysis is a Pareto method that can be used to determine priorities for handling ornamental plants so that MSME X can focus on critical plant species. This study also recommends inventory management in the next process using the Moving-Average, SKU, safety stock and reorder point forecasting methods. The research results may not necessarily be applied to other companies with demand patterns or to companies with different industries. In addition, the limitation of this study is that the sample used is only supplies of ornamental plants as merchandise.
