Relevansi Nilai Kinerja ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) dan Pelaporan Keberlanjutan Perusahaan Terhadap Nilai Pasar Ekuitas di Indonesia pada Periode 2013-2018
This study aims to analyze the value relevance of Indonesian companies? ESG performance, sustainability reporting, and the use of GRI reporting standards on market value in Indonesia. This study uses panel data analysis on 33 public companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as a sample with a research period of from 2013 to 2018. The company's ESG performance was measured by the composite ESG value, sustainability reporting was assessed by percentage of reporting coverage, and the use of GRI reporting standards is represented by dummy variables. In the three models used, the study not only used the composite ESG performance score as a proxy for the score, but also used the baseline model (without including any ESG score) and the score of each pillar of the ESG. From the results, it can be concluded that the sustainability report is proven to affect market value significantly and positively. However, after the composite ESG score passes a certain level, its effect on the market value is actually negative. In addition, the use of GRI reporting standards significantly affects market value negatively. The study concludes that ESG performance, sustainability reporting, and GRI reporting standards only have value relevance if the score used is the ESG composite score and not just the score of each ESG pillar.Ada Tabel
