Tata Kelola Listrik dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi: Studi Kasus Negara APEC
Electricity is one of the vital sector in human life. It can drive economic growth, reduce inequality, improve human welfare and boost production or irrigation systems. It is estimated that the level of electricity demand will increase rapidly in 2040 compared to this period and electricity governance will greatly affect the economy in the future. The selection of 8 APEC countries, was based on the influence factor of the APEC countries as a whole on the economy, especially as energy sector in the world. Besides that, there was also geographical proximity and these countries are divided into developed and developing countries. Liberalization of electricity governance is expected to help a country to be more efficient in utilizing the budget (International Energy Agency, 1999). This study has a dependent variable of Economic Growth with GDP PPP indicators and independent variables namely Electricity Consumption, Capital Stock, Total Workers, Single Buyer Governance and Free Competition Governance as Dummy Variables.In this study, it was found that there was an impact of the change in governance on economic growth both on single buyer governance and on free competition with a contribution of 8.7% and 9%. The impact of both are seen in the data visualization of individual countries and the possible long-term positive effects that changes the governance.The impact of electricity consumption on economic growth affects the economic growth by 0.082% due to the long-term research.Ada Tabel
