This study examines relationship between the involvement of childcare by residential fathers and their well-being. Specifically, this study explores whether there is a relationship between parenting done by fathers with their self-esteem and psychological distress. We used primary data collected through an online questionnaire with 246 fathers in the sample. Consistent with previous studies, our research finds that time allocated by father for childrearing does not have a significant effect to their wellbeing. Instead, father's financial shows a consistent significant association to the wellbeing indicator.Ada Tabel
