Pengaruh Foreign Direct Investment Terhadap Kinerja Ekspor di ASEAN-5
This study examines how Foreign Direct Investment affect export performance in ASEAN-5 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine, Singapore, and Thailand) from 1997-2018, also examines the differences influences between Intra and Extra ASEAN Foreign Direct Investment from 2009-2018. Based on the theory of Foreign Direct Investment, FDI affecting host country in two ways, direct (MNE Theory) and indirect (Specific Effect) where FDI affecting export through various channel that affect the productivity of domestic exports. The author include the idea of the FDI Theory to see the impact of Foreign Direct Investment on export performance in ASEAN-5 directly and indirectly, using supply capacity (Potential GDP) and FDI inward Stock, Total , Intra and Extra ASEAN proxy. Author use a panel data and Feasible GLS analysis method. The results shows that affect export performance directly through supply capacity, and specifically through FDI Stocks, and the influences of Intra-ASEAN FDI is greater than Extra-ASEAN, implies that ASEAN goals of creating good investment flows has been reached.Ada Tabel
