Pengaruh Tingkat Pengembalian Investasi Pendidikan Terhadap Pekerja Anak di Indonesia

In 2018, there were around 7,05% child labors in Indonesia. This phenomenon is not easy to solve since it is a complex problem. To find channel that could influence the tendency to be a child labor without reducing the welfare of the family, this study wants to know the effect of return to education on child labor. Moreover, the effect of return to education in poor families will also be analyzed. This study was conducted by using a combination of Sakernas data to obtain the value of the regional return to education and Susenas data to know the estimation about the effect of that to the tendency to become a child labor. The result of this study suggests that the return to education has a significant negative effect on child labor, yet the effect is different for each age group. In poor families the effect is different, where the result tend to be insignificant.Ada Tabel
