This study aims to determine the effect of R&D investments on the dividend payout ratio in non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period 2012 ? 2019. The collected data will be processed using the Tobit Regression Left-Censored Model. This study finds evidence that R&D investments have no effect on dividend policy (dividend payout ratio) of non-financial companies. The absence of influence between R&D investments on the dividend payout ratio of these non-financial companies can be found in the behavior of Indonesian investors and the institutional conditions of the Indonesian state. Thus, this research is expected to be able to provide insight for further researchers as well as consideration for companies in making and determining dividend policies for non-financial companies in Indonesia.Ada Tabel
