Pengaruh Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) terhadap Produktivitas Perusahaan-Perusahaan di Industri Otomotif Indonesia pada Tahun 2002 ? 2017 : Penerapan Data Envelopment Analysis
The development of FDI inflows and outflows from one country to another has become a topic of discussion that increasingly being discussed in this progressive open world. The policies used to attract investors are also implemented by many countries, Indonesia is no exception. Through the capital attracting policy which was first implemented by the Ali Sastroamdjojo Cabinet (1952-1953), this method can be used as a consideration for the potential economic strength that exists in all regions of the country that have not been processed to become a real economic strength, which is partly due to the lack of capital, experience, and technology. For this reason, the use of foreign capital needs to be utilized optimally to accelerate Indonesia's economic development and be used in fields and sectors that have not been and or cannot be implemented by Indonesian capital itself. Of all the sectors that can be developed through FDI, researchers are interested in specializing the subject to one of the industries that is important for the Indonesian development, namely the automotive industry. The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of FDI entering Indonesia on the productivity of companies in the automotive industry using the Malmquist Index method which is based on the DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) system. The results found, using a sample of 12 companies that represent a market share of more than 50%, show that FDI can affect the productivity of the automotive industry insignificantly.Ada Tabel
